Excellent Winning In Blind Cricket T20

This is Not Brazil vs Argentina / Ind vs Pak Men Sports!!

  INDIA'S BLIND MEN CRICKET

Normal people cannot do even a little things while closing their eyes.
But Blind people can know everything by sense of hearing and touching.

This is OK for doing their normal life activities but comes to sports it is not a such a easy task.

In cricket normal  players are some time struggle to play a simple defend shots too. India started a Cricket Association for Blind Men Cricket.

History behind the Blind Cricket:

Blind cricket, however, has a very interesting history associated with it. The concept is, in fact, 92 years old with blind cricket originating in Melbourne, Australia, in the year 1922. Apparently, two blind factory workers improvised the game using a tin can containing rocks. The game soon made its way to other parts of the Australia and was primarily played during lunchtime at workshops where vision impaired people were employed.

It was 43 years after this that the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) was established, in the year 1996, in New Delhi, India.
George Abraham was the founding chairman of the WBCC.
It has ten full members which include Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, West Indies and Nepal.

Rules and Regulation:

Unlike normal cricket, Blind cricket having a interesting set of rules and regulations. Team contain 15 members, all are not blind people they grouped by three category.

A match is played with 11 players of which mini of 4 are fully blind (B1), mini of three are partially blind (b2) and
mini of four players are partially sighted (b3).

Ball they are using are large than normal cricket ball and stump also larger than normal.
For ODI consist of 40 overs and for Test match duration is three days and T20 match of 20 overs.

The bowling is underarm, and at the point of delivery, the arm has to be below the shoulder. Failure of this will result in a no-ball being called.

The ball has to also bounce once on either side of the mid pitch line before it reaches the batting crease.
Failure to do so will result in a no-ball being called.
Also, the bowler has to say “ready?” to the batsman, when he is set to bowl.

To which the batsman has to respond by saying, “yes.” At the point of delivery, the bowler must say “play”. Failure to do so will result in a no-ball being called.

Victory of India:

Third edition of game took place in South Africa, first time India won the dream of Blind Cricket World Cup against Pakistan.

In 2012, first T20 Blind Cricket World Cup held in Bangalore, won by India against Pakistan.

In 2017, Defending champions India registered their fourth victory in the T20 World Cup for the Blind with a convincing nine-wicket win against South Africa at MCA  BKC Ground in Mumbai on Friday.

South Africa scored 157/8 after electing to bat, with David Landry hitting an unbeaten 41-ball 42. In reply, India overhauled the target, scoring 158/1 in just 13.5 overs.

Blind Women Cricket Team:

After the success of Blind Men Cricket Team India Cricket Association launched blind cricket for women squad of 41 members first time.
Women's selection committee chairman and former Indian women's team captain Shantha Rangaswamy launched the women's blind cricket team.

A very initiative way for the women who are showing lot of interest towards playing cricket is the key to do this.

Blind Cricket is not as popular as the cricket we exposure to.
It is impossible to create huge followings on this blind cricket like others, but is it possible means blind team will move on to the next level with the support of government as well.

One thing i would like to say is the person who is contribute their part in 2012 T20 Blind Men World Cup still having no job and their position also not good.
Be supportive to blind team as much as other sports.

My First Game

Hai, This is Nivetha Elangovan going to describe about my first game. I have to tell about my sports passion. First, i would like to say about my school level sport. Yes, I am a ball badminton player in school level.

When i was 16years old my first game against one of the other school of my city. I do not know about how to keep the bat in position, but i had a team of 8members going to lead the team.Rules for the game is as usual of like other outdoor game. Team must have 5members and 3substitute outside the game.
Rules and regulations are strictly followed.
 Serving side,
  • Server must keep both of his feet in contact with floor at the time of serving.
  •  Server should not serve until the opponent is ready. Each serving having chance of 5serve to the opponent. For each serve the server must change the position from left to right and vice versa.
  • After server or opponent getting 8points means exchange their sides.
Without knowing anything about rules and regulation we were going to compete against the team.
My first leadership quality was come out because of my first game. Unfortunately we were lost our game but we got some ideas about how to play and to handle the opposition. Again we were going to challenge district level match against one of among best team.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFksJ7sLPn0
We won the match against one team but failed in final. We got a runner up for Zonal and District level game. Whatever i have today is learned from yesterday is my philosophy. Unfortunately after left from school we dropped our sports spirit in ball badminton, in my college level no one recognize my talent in sports. So i decided to give up.
At the time of playing Badminton, if i have to say I'm playing badminton means they take it as Tennis. but there is a difference between Tennis and Ball Badminton

Tennis and Badminton are both racquet sports. Badminton and Shuttle Badminton are basically the same while Badminton can also include ball badminton where you use ball instead of a shuttlecock. Tennis is a sport basically played on three different surfaces like grass (lawn tennis), hard courts and clay courts.
